At Fairfax High (an LAUSD public high school established in 1924), the original Melrose Trading Post has raised over $6 million since 1997, providing students with jobs and helping to fund college scholarships, library renovations, field trips, sports equipment, band uniforms, beautification projects, teacher programs, theater productions, and more.
