Miguel Sermeno and his family run Grandma’s Closet, a vintage shop at the Melrose Trading Post.  They cut and sew garments to create original silhouettes and bring new life to previously loved clothing.  Their signature tags are on each crop top.  Grandma’s Closet is an innovative cut-and-sew business, bringing new life to vintage and previously loved garments.

Melrose Trading Post apparel has been created in partnership with local garment manufacturer, Everybody.World.

Their clothing is made using sustainable and eco-friendly methods that have a low carbon footprint. In fact, many of these pieces are actually created with recycled cotton and reclaimed manufacturing waste.
Although this apparel costs a bit extra, it’s better for the planet!

All proceeds from the Melrose & Fairfax Collection support Greenway Arts Alliance’s arts education programs for Fairfax High School and thought-provoking live theatre.
The proceeds of this shirt go to Greenway Arts Alliance’s After School Arts Classes which are free for Fairfax High School Students.

Classes include theater, voice, dance, spoken word, film and the “Arts Circle” art therapy group.
