After applying with the city and patiently waiting for a reply, we have successfully received THREE new bike racks in front of the Greenway Court Theatre’s entrance on Clinton and Fairfax Avenue. This is conveniently located by our Fairfax ticket booth, just outside of the parking lot entrance. Thank you to the City of Los Angeles! Visit BicycleLA.org to apply for a bicycle rack in your part of town!
Carlos of Arroyave Studio is a vendor who has been selling with the Melrose Trading Pos for a few years. His colorful booth always draws patrons who are looking to brighten up their homes and office spaces.
We love his booth every Sunday, and his Instagram account, (@ArroyaveStudio) boasts gorgeous photos of his furniture, artwork and home decoration. The included photo is from his Etsy Store and is also featured on his Instagram account. Carlos goes out of his way to display his handmade and repurposed goods in such beautiful vignettes. Connect with Arroyave Studio on Facebook to see where his Pop-Up shop will be next!
See him at the Melrose Trading Post in the B100’s section almost every Sunday!

You may have heard that there is a new flea market popping up in Downtown. The new Downtown Flea was created by event creator Philip Dane.
What you may not know is that Mr. Dane has a history with Fairfax High School!
Mr. Dane started a successful market in the early 1990’s that ran for three years at Fairfax High School.
In fact, his market inspired the co-founders of our market, Whitney Weston and Pierson Blaetz to create the non-profit Melrose Trading Post.
The Melrose Trading Post has officially been in operation since 1997 and has grown to be the incredible market it is today (with your help of course)!
We wish Philip Dane the best of luck with his new endeavor Downtown.
