Non-Profit Organizations & School Groups

Represent a Non-Profit Organization,

LAUSD Booster Club or PTA / PTSA Group?

The Melrose Trading Post *Entrepreneurship* program provides prime space within the market for local PTA/PTSA/Booster Clubs and Los Angeles based non-profit organizations focused on arts, education, community building, entrepreneurship, small business support, supporting unhoused people, LGBTQIA+, youth and elderly advocacy, social justice, animal welfare and the environment.

Local organizations participating in this program are able to use this space to fundraise, spread awareness, run a toy or food drive, showcase art in an outdoor gallery,  gain petition signatures, recruit volunteers and more.  Let us know your idea and we’ll see how we can support you to make it happen.

Through this program we walk each group through the process of setting up at the market and set you up for success.

We galvanize the community to support your organization through social media promotion, and your team gets to achieve your goals!

Schools groups are eligible for one free booth per semester.

Non-profit organizations are eligible for one free booth per month.

To apply, fill out the online application below, then send an email to Natalie@GreenwayArts.org with the following:

1, An introduction to your organization, and how your organization would utilize a free booth at MTP.

2. A copy of your org’s 501c3 certificate or current status document (PDF) to verify your organization’s eligibility.

What are School Group Leaders saying about the Melrose Trading Post Entrepreneurship Program?

The Grand Arts PTSA is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Melrose Trading Post Entrepreneurship Program by Greenway Arts Alliance. Our students had a blast, learned tons about how to run a pop-up and raised a lot of money to help with senior year expenses like the prom. We hope to have the opportunity again!

Grant Arts PTSA President, Mia Picerno

It was clear from the start that the Greenway Arts Alliance wanted our fundraising booth to be as successful as possible, and they backed that up by supporting us through all of our many ideas and questions. Event day went smoothly and I'm happy to say that our elementary school's PTA raised close to $600 for field trips. Give this a try if you're looking for an event that reaches beyond your usual audience of school families, and gives kids an opportunity to get involved as well.

Wilshire Crest Elementary PTA President Whitney Smith

What an empowering confidence booster this was for our young students...from persuading the public to buy their set up items, through the full payment process...our kids became fearless entrepreneurs by end of day.

Tracy Daniel of Friends of Grand View Blvd. Elementary School

We had an extremely valuable experience at Melrose Trading Post. We raised funds outside of our usual school community, our students gained practical entrepreneurial experience by planning, supplying and running the pop up, and we had a fun day. As an arts high school, we appreciated that we could customize our booth to sell student work and give our artists real-life experience with art sales. Thank you!

A Melrose Trading Post pop-up for LAUSD schools offers a way to connect with community members who don't have public education on their radar.
