Handmade Ceramic Makers

Handmade Ceramic Makers

Handmade ceramics have a special place at MTP; we love the uniqueness of each piece and the ingenuity of each maker’s designs.

Yau Chung Tong of One Cup Ceramics has been selling ceramics at MTP since 2017.  His collections of cups and scooping spoons are truly special.  The characters he paints on the spoons are sure to bring a smile to your face.  Every once in a while he makes tea pots, even though they are very technically challenging.

Every so often we meet a new ceramic maker who really impresses us!  Tania of Made in Tierra had her MTP debut last Sunday.  She had a great response from you all, even selling out of her signature grating dishes.  Tania focuses on sustainability, using natural and local materials in her unique designs.

If you’re looking for a unique, stand-out piece, look no further than the fluid designs of JJ Clay.  His ceramic sculptures reflect shapes found in nature.  Some pieces are functional, and some are simply jaw-dropping!

Newcomer Olivia of OXM Art showcased her unique designs this past Sunday too.  Our favorite items include the ceramic matchboxes and cowboy hat incense holders!
