08 Jun Fairfax Garden Wish List
The photo above is of a small garden area that is a part of the market by the Men’s Restroom. Over the next year, the staff of Greenway Arts Alliance will be revamping this area into a serene garden with a series of workshops designed for the Special Education students of Fairfax High School. These students will be painting signs, revitalizing the space and designing a garden for their class to maintain throughout the year. We are pooling together resources and reaching out to the community to improve this area of the FHS campus. If you are able to contribute to the garden by donating from our Garden Wishlist below, you will be greatly appreciated!
Fairfax Garden Wishlist includes:
- Pots and planters of all sizes
- Benches, garden decor, bird feeders, rocks, gravel
- Wood, rebar or bamboo sticks
- Gently used or new garden tools
- Potting Soil, soil amendment, seeds and bird seed
