📣 EXCITING CHANGES HAVE LANDED AT MTP! 📣

Melrose Trading Post is returning to our traditional market layout beginning March 3, 2024! We are so excited to bring back a new and improved version of our signature food court and festival-style outdoor stage on the lawn in the Fairfax High School quad, back for the first time since early 2020. BEFORE: 2020-2024

After spacing out the market for social distancing during 2020, Fairfax’s built-in amphitheater became the Greenway Amphitheater surrounded by an ass0rtment of delicious food trucks. This stage and food court arrangement was quite eclectic, featuring an assortment of patio tables, lawn chairs, and vintage furniture for patrons to enjoy, as well as a large mat surface with cushions to substitute the feeling of enjoying music on the lawn.

Our stage is not only home to live music and performances, but also events like Story Time in the Garden and Intermission yoga + soundbath classes! All of this programming and more will be migrating to the new stage design.

AFTER: 2024-onward

Our team has been hard at work developing the redesigned market map and food court, modeled after the MTP Main Stage layout from pre-2020:

We designed it to feature the original stage set up on the lawn, with a combination of new and exciting pop up food vendors as well as your favorite food trucks stationed throughout the market.
