On Sunday, April 3rd our team launched the Melrose Trading Post Gift Shop on this website!
To celebrate and get the word out, we decided to set up an exclusive in-person pop-up shop by the Melrose entrance of the market.
Our team had been preparing for this moment for months, and it was amazing to see all of our designs and conversations come to life. We commissioned artist Matt Wilcox of @SticksandLasers and @CanvasConvoy to create our sign. He laser etched the design onto the piece of wood, and then painted in the colors of the logo.

The Greenway Arts Alliance Shop Team decorated the booth with sunflowers to bring sunshine to the people visiting the market.

Adriana was in charge of handing out flowers to patrons while sharing our Gift Shop’s story. She did a great job of engaging with patrons while making them feel special. It was so fun seeing people walk around the market with sunflowers and orange roses in hand.
Cira designed many of the items in the shop, including the stickers, pins, t-shirts, and the Mid City West Map artwork.
“After developing this initial collection of products over the course of many months, it was extraordinary to finally be able to share them with our patrons in this exciting way,” Cira said. “I felt a sense of pride as I watched people stop by, eagerly flip through our rack of shirts, and thoughtfully admire our set-up. I think we created a beautiful space to showcase the collection and introduce the world to this new branch of the MTP ecosystem.”
