Meet Jose, the Former Administrative Associate for Greenway Arts Alliance.
For the past several years, Jose has helped behind the scenes as the Administrative Associate across the different departments of Greenway. Jose has actually been involved in Greenway since 2017, when he was hired at at Melrose Trading Post as a Fairfax Student event staff member.
While Jose is leaving Greenway, he shared his staff picks before moving on to his next adventure!

A family owned food truck specializing in Caribbean-American cuisine, with one of a kind flavors inspired by Belizean & Jamaican influences. You can find Dilan’s parked by the Fairfax Entrance at MTP every Sunday!
“My favorite spot at the Melrose Trading Post to eat… I love their jerk chicken. It’s so good, you gotta come try it.”
2. Stuart’s Posters
You can always find patrons in Stuart Sidwell’s booth flipping through posters large and small to decorate their space. Stuart sets up in space B21 every Sunday.
“I bought the Kobe Bryant poster. One of my favorites – I have it posted in my bedroom.”
3. Grandma’s Closet
Miguel Sermeno and his family run Grandma’s Closet, a vintage shop at the Melrose Trading Post. They strive to create reworked vintage items out of previously loved garments. Find them in space B6-B7!
“Whenever I need a new outfit for like a festival or an event, I just go there… They have a lot of vintage shirts and a lot of jeans as well.”
4.Homeros Sunglasses
Mario Crespo and his family set up the massive sunglasses tent in B116 every week, with every style of shades imaginable.
“He’s got a lot of different variety sunglasses, especially now with the summertime. I love to buy a whole bunch of different sunglasses.”
