Greenway Arts Alliance is now accepting candidates for two internships through the LACDAC’s Artists Internship Program

Work behind the scenes with the Melrose Trading Post Vendor & Marketing Teams

Greenway’s Marketing and Vendor Relations Intern will work closely with Natalie Jackson, Greenway’s Marketing and Special Events Manager and Patrick Weinbrecht, Greenway’s Vendor Sales Manager, on administrative and marketing projects for Greenway Arts Alliance and the Melrose Trading Post (MTP).

You’ll support the planning & prepping for seasonal events (Juneteenth Celebration, Dog Costume Contest, etc.), communications to the vendor community and engagement with customers visiting the market.

Work behind the scenes with the Greenway Court Theatre & Greenway Institute for the Arts

Greenway’s Producing and Arts Education Intern will work closely with Mohammed Ojarigi, Greenway’s Producing Director and Christina Carrera, Greenway’s Student Programs Manager on a variety of tasks for Greenway Court Theatre’s 2025/2026 Season and Greenway Institute for the Arts summer and school year for LAUSD high school students.

This includes the producing of the theatre’s fall GreenwayREADS professional production, from pre-production through the run of the show, student showcases and a fun summer program.

About the LACDAC Arts Internship Program:

 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE LA COUNTY ARTS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM?

2025 Arts Internship positions will be open to currently enrolled undergraduate (2 or 4-year) and community college students who reside or attend college in Los Angeles County. Recent graduates may apply as long as they have completed their degree between May 1 – December 1, 2025. The Department of Arts and Culture encourages eligible students from all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as disabled students, to apply. Eligible students may participate in the program only once.

Note:

  • Students who have already earned a BA, BS, or a higher degree are not eligible for the Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program.
  • Students who have previously participated in the program are not eligible to participate a second time.
  • Students must posses the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Students who are invited to participate in the program will be asked to provide verification of eligibility via college transcripts, driver’s license, and other documents to show enrollment status and/or LA County residence.
