06 May Bring your donatable clothing to MTP Sunday, 5/9!
Each year, millions of pounds of clothing ends up in landfills – but together we can help change that! As a leader in clothing care, LG is committed to shining a light on textile waste through LG Second Life – a campaign that inspires others to help give a “second life” to clothing that may otherwise be wasted.
LG will be at Melrose Trading Post, this Sunday, 5/9 collecting your clothing donations and giving you a chance to swap them for a vintage favorite in our clothing swap which will be stocked with great finds from Round Two Vintage. Plus, 8e8 Thai Street Food will be providing a free food item—all you need to do is donate one or more pounds of your lightly used clothing!
Once all the donations have been collected, they will be transported to the LG wash center to be properly sanitized—helping mitigate the effect that COVID-19 has had on clothing donation this past year. Once they are cleaned and sorted, LG will deliver them to organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and others in need of clothing resources.
Come on out and help LG to Wash. Upcycle. Repeat!”
