Luna Inmigrante Poetry Reading at Melrose Trading Post
Poet, Fairfax alumna, and Luna Inmigrante author Virginia Bulacio returned for another poetry reading event at MTP in celebration of National Poetry Month! These collaborations are so special to us because Virginia and her brother Ezequiel Leanza are Fairfax High School Alumni, AND her parents and extended family have sold at the Melrose Trading Post for over two decades.
There were readings from Virginia herself as well as fellow poets David A. Romero, Jesenia Chavez, Yasmin Safdie, Jaime Mayorquin and Ariadna Sanchez Hernandez on the Greenway Main Stage from 11:45 am – 12:15 pm.
They also hosted a pop up booth in MTP with their books in space R19 for the duration of the market.
