EPISODE 12

JUST A TOTE

Watch the latest episode of Melrose Stories with Just A Tote!

This week our host Mahagany Adair, is chatting with Fairfax High School Alumna and entrepreneur, Myche Jones.

Just a Tote started with a simple idea – save more plastic bags from being wasted by creating a reusable one that people actually want to carry. Making them cute, and affordable was the goal & caring about the planet. Myche’s pile of totes is epic Sunday morning, but by the end of the day, there are only a few left! Myche and her Mom run the booth, and they are both connected to Fairfax. Myche went to Fairfax High School and graduated in 2010. Her awesome Mom worked at Fairfax back then too!

Just A Tote helped create these tote bags to commemorate the Juneteenth event at Melrose Trading Post. The bag also features artwork from Writings From Michael and was screen printed by the 1OffProject.

These products are part of the Fairfax Love Collection; 100% of proceeds go directly to the Fairfax High School Black Student Union!
